As an example of production since 2000, volume 77 (published in 2008) contains 2,217 pages and 17,734 numbered entries ; when the non-numbered cross-reference records are included the total is 27,632.
This number reflects the processing of 3,807 new books, 6,432 journal articles and 3,887 articles from collections, as well as 3,607 books indexed in earlier volumes that received new reviews. The journal issues excerpted number 1,620 and the collections number 279.
